At Toruń’s second market square – the New Town Market Square – stands a particularly beautiful Gothic church, now known as the Sanctuary of St. James. The church is located along the famous Camino Polaco pilgrimage route and features remarkably rich architectural details for a medieval building. Viewed from the outside, the eye is drawn to the flying buttresses and decorative pinnacles, instantly evoking the Gothic era.
